About Us

Matt has been in education for 30 years, owns a math curriculum company, holds a patent in math education, has been published in the peer reviewed math journal ‘Mathematics Teacher’, is a National Board Certified teacher, and recipient of the Jaime Escalante Award for Excellence in Mathematics Teaching.

Matt has a B.S. degree in Biology from The California Institute of Technology, and a PhD in Biomedical Engineering from The Johns Hopkins School of Medicine. He most recently (2015) earned a B.S. degree in mechanical engineering (magna cum laude) from Washington State University.
